Monday 29th January 2024:
Year 5 travelled back in time to the Tudor Period to link in with their history learning this week! They threw themselves in to dressing up as lords, ladies, maids and servants, learning about the differences between rich and poor Tudors, what went into building the house itself for Queen Elizabeth I and even how Tudors tried to hide foul smells with pomanders (oranges stuffed with cloves and rolled in cinnamon).
Staff and children commented on what a fantastic trip it was and how much it brought their learning to life!
