In November 2019, we were pleased and proud to be awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award as a result of our on-going commitment to working closely and engaging with our parents/carers . This prestigious award is nationally recognised and only awarded to schools who meet a strict criteria and have evidence to show a continued commitment to parental involvement in school.

Following a rigorous evaluation, we were highly praised on our partnership with all parents and carers within the academy. We firmly believe that working in partnership with parents and carers leads to improved pupil progress,  enjoyment,  behaviour and attendance.

We have been recognised as having a very supportive transition for pupils through school and into new schools. We pride ourselves on the communication we have with parents and ensure that all parents have the information required to support their children fully.

As an academy, we are proud of the ways which we welcome and include all our families into school, and we will continue to do as much as we can to include everyone whilst maintaining the strict COVID guidelines by using virtual meetings, Class Dojo, telephone communications, e-mail and social media.
