you’ll walk 👣 through gates you know so well —
the same gates that have watched you grow 🌱
from little shoes and wobbly spellings
into young people filled with wonder. 💭 ✨
Tonight, though,
put the pencils ✏️ down for a while.
Let your minds rest. 💤
Let your hearts be light. 💛
Because you are already
so much more
than a score on a page. 💪🏼
You are the child who helped a friend 🫶🏼
when nobody else noticed.
The one who kept trying
even when fractions felt impossible. ➗
The one whose laughter filled classrooms,
whose questions sparked curiosity, 🤔
whose kindness changed ordinary days.
Tomorrow’s SATs
cannot measure your imagination, 💭
your courage, 💪🏼
your humour, 😂
your determination, 😬
or the way you make this school brighter
simply by being in it. 🌟
They cannot test
how beautifully you have grown.
So tonight,
be proud of yourself. ⭐️
Proud of every early morning,
every piece of homework,
every crossed-out mistake,

“I can’t do this,”

Step into a week of wonder in nursery, where learning feels like a little bit of magic ✨
This week, we’ll become artists as we paint beautiful, bright sunflowers, exploring colours, textures, and creativity. Budding scientists will measure giant dinosaur bones, discovering size, length, and comparison in exciting hands-on ways. In our learning adventures, we’ll also be weighing animals, helping us understand heavy and light through play and exploration. 🦖🦕
Our role-play post office will be buzzing with activity, where children can send letters, sort parcels, and build communication and social skills. We’ll also be hosting our very own play dough tea party, where children can mould, shape, and create delicious imaginary treats—developing fine motor skills, creativity, and lots of imaginative storytelling. 📮✉️🎂🍰🧁🫖
Alongside all of this, we’ll be practising writing our names, growing confidence and independence with every letter. ✏️

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday! 🥳
For decades, he has inspired generations of children and adults alike to explore, respect and protect our amazing natural world. From the deepest oceans to the highest mountains, his storytelling has helped us understand just how precious our planet is. 🌿🐘🐋
In our assembly yesterday, we discussed the question
'Why do some people become so important to the world?'
We would love for you all to share your voice with us about how David Attenborough has become so significant and the impact he has had on our world. 💬
