CONSULTATION ON PROPOSED ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR 2027/2028

As you may be aware, Alpha Academies Trust is its own Admissions Authority. In accordance with the DfE’s School Admissions Code 2021
guidance, as a school we must consult on our admissions arrangements when changes are proposed, and at least once every seven years.
Eaton Park Academy are not proposing any changes and adopt Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s determined admission arrangements.

The consultation period must run for a minimum of 6 weeks and will take place from Monday 15th December, 2025 to Monday 26th January,
2026 inclusive.

Eaton Park Academy must consult with:

  • parents of children between the ages of two and eighteen.
  • other person(s) in the relevant area who in the opinion of the admission authority have an interest in the proposed admissions
  • all other admission authorities within the relevant area (except that primary schools need not consult secondary schools)
  • whichever of the governing body and the local authority is not the admission authority
  • any adjoining neighbouring local authorities where the admission authority is the local authority
